The accommodation is a little paradise and very clean, and the hosts are extremely friendly. There are several restaurants within walking distance, and an Uber to Puerto Viejo is always available.

The breakfast was scrumptious, and the room had more than enough space for me. Physis is beautifully decorated and such a relaxing place. The people were wonderful, caring, attentive, and quick to respond. Juliette, the chef, and Cristina deserve five stars. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again next time I’m in Cocles.

We spotted a sloth making its way across the power lines as soon as we arrived. The property itself feels like a lovely jungle hideaway, with warm-colored wood and gardens all around. Juliet was so kind, our room was wonderful, and we’d highly recommend staying here.

The fresh breakfast each morning was a lovely part of our stay, and the hosts were welcoming with plenty of useful suggestions for seeing the area. We even spotted a beautiful dart frog, along with geckos and hummingbirds visiting every day. The rooms were great and the scenery exceeded what we expected. Such a special little place for our Costa Rica trip. We were sad to leave and wished we could have stayed longer.

Juliet made us feel very welcome, and there were several breakfast options to choose from. We had the pancakes with tropical fruit, which were delicious. The hotel is a peaceful oasis surrounded by plants, with a spacious, clean room and lovely decorative details that show how much care the owners put in. Definitely recommend it.
