The host’s Russian sauna on Sunday evening was such a special, memorable experience, and they invited us to try it. They also made good suggestions for beaches and food without pushing tours. We felt very safe. The room was clean, had shampoo, and came with free coffee and tea; the shower temperature was nice and the aircon worked fine. There’s a gate where you can leave your car, the internet was very good, and the covered roof terrace is large. It’s great value, though about a 15-minute walk from the city, so we used ubers.

The gentleman hosting us was pleasant and helpful with tips about the area. The rooms look nice, with French doors you can open for some air, though there was a slight musty smell, which is expected this time of year. The property feels safe, and the gates are locked at night. It’s a bit far from the beach if you don’t have a car. Like many places around here, there are no street names or door numbers, so it was hard to locate, especially with no sign out front. There’s a beautiful toucan at the door :)

The owner was really nice and helpful, and the room was clean, with a fridge and coffee machine. Still, it got noisy at night, and the small bed made it hard to sleep well. In my opinion, it was very pricey compared with other places outside Coco beach.

Oleg and Ana were the best part, such great hosts! They let us leave our luggage on checkout day and even shower after we came back. The room was small, the shower was a bit unpredictable, and the fan was kind of noisy. But there’s a free washing machine and drier, an amazing terrace to relax on, plus cookies, free coffee, and water in the room. A perfect place to slow down for a couple of nights while traveling. Recommended!
