Small, basic rooms, but exactly right when you're exhausted and just need somewhere to sleep. It was clean, felt pretty safe, and had hot water. Great price for a night or two while getting around the city.

The rooms are tiny and very hot, so you have to keep the AC on to get by. There are no windows, and the place looks like a prison. The sheets weren't clean either. It's in a favela where I didn't feel safe walking at night, and the receptionist only speaks Spanish. I don't understand how this place got 3 stars and a 9 on Booking.

Handy location, close to bus stops for Atenas, Naranjo, and other nice tourist spots.
