Hotel San José

We chose a room without air conditioning after the one with it smelled stale. With the windows open, the room cooled down nicely at night, and traffic noise had stopped by 10pm. The rooms were simple, clean, and secure, and staff helped us when we asked about local buses.

The price is very low, but I didn’t find this to be a good hotel. The beds and mattresses are worn and sagging, the service is poor, and staff don’t speak English. They charge extra for almost everything, and even a one-hour early check-in was refused. The location felt quite bad and unsafe.

Hotel San josè has a nice location in a natural setting. The rooms are very nice, and the service is very smart.

The toilet seat in my room is broken and still hasn’t been fixed. I asked to move because of construction work, but they wouldn’t relocate me. The people have been extremely rude and not very nice at all. If I’d known then what I know now, I never would have booked here. Don’t waste your time or money. It’s an awful, absolutely disgusting place, and I can’t say anything good about it.
