I’ve known the owner for 14 years, from his other places around here, and after living here from 2012-2017 I returned eight years later. I’ve been here since Dec 29 and feel completely rejuvenated, body, mind, and spirit. If you want a real jungle stay, book here. The animal life is a big part of it. Most days there are birds, butterflies, and monkeys active in the morning and afternoon while you eat breakfast or dinner, though there have been a few quiet days too. Juan is an actual chef, and his meals are wonderful and filling before a day of adventures. I’ve also spent whole days on my porch, watching birds come down to the little stream in the bamboo. It’s beautiful and calming just to sit there. Juan and his wife Maria are wonderful hosts. He built all this with his own hands, and the two of them do the work of looking after guests, feeding them, and helping set up the next tour or adventure. Come spend some time at Green Point, you won’t regret it.

Breakfast was delicious, and they serve it in the morning with the birds singing around you. The owner is kind and can arrange all sorts of things, with a wide choice of tours at the same prices as the cheapest hostel in town. A fantastic place to stay in nature.

A bungalow surrounded by nature, with birds to watch all day, especially over the delicious breakfast. Monkeys come by to eat bananas, too. The host was kind, and we were really pleased with our stay. Recommended.

For very little money, this is a great spot surrounded by jungle, and the breakfast is extraordinarily tasty. But don't book a tour there. We asked for the Sirena Station day tour and paid the quoted amount plus a little extra. At the bay, nobody knew about us. We then found out we'd been booked on a different tour to san pedrillo. The return transfer to the hostel hadn't been arranged either, and we waited over half an hour for someone to show up.

The birds sing you to sleep and are still there when you wake up. Fantastic breakfast and dinner. Shhh, don't advertise it, there’s only one room and it’ll get snapped up soon.
