The Rio Claro Floating Tour with Carlos was a great, energizing outing. First there's a hike through primary forest, then you get to plunge into a natural pool by a waterfall. Carlos shared the story of being bitten by a Fer-de-lance, which is still his favorite snake, and pointed out plants and animals along the trail. Like many Drake Bay tours, it's best suited to people who enjoy physical activity. We'd definitely recommend it.

We had a fantastic Corcovado day trip with Pachecho tours. Everything was arranged smoothly and communication was really clear. Our guide Alejandra was amazing, passionate about conservation and so knowledgeable about the animals. Her enthusiasm was infectious, and we loved the army ants too. She found so much wildlife: an anteater, porcupine, agoutis, crocodiles, all four types of monkey, lots of birds, and lots of insects. Can't recommend it enough!

Corcovado National Park is magical, and our guide José made the experience even better. Pacheco Tours was outstanding. José was funny, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable, explaining things with passion and clarity so the day was both educational and entertaining. Thanks to his sharp eye and expertise we saw sloths, all three kinds of monkeys, a tapir, countless birds, crocodiles, and caimans. Highly recommended if you're looking for a deep, authentic wildlife experience in Costa Rica. Gracias.

Keller gave us invaluable guidance in Corcovado. His knowledge, family connection to the park, and years of experience were second to none, and we came away with real insight into its ecology. We were picked up by boat in Drake Bay at 06:00 and sped around the peninsula for an hour to reach the park. After landing on the beach, checking in, having our bags checked, and changing shoes, we set off on the nature trails. It was a great way to explore and be part of nature, with lots of chances to see animals in their natural habitat. Lunch at the rangers' lodge was healthy and filling. The walk is hard mainly because the climate is hot and humid. The canopy gives good shade, but there are still stretches of intense sun. Bring sunscreen, insect repellent, plenty of water, and sturdy shoes. A fantastic immersion in Costa Rica's untouched wildlife.

We took their two-day Corcovado tour and were lucky to have Alexandra as our guide. She knew so much about nature, respected the wildlife, and had an incredible eye. Focused throughout each walk, she showed us everything from a tiny frog to a tapir, the largest mammal, along with all four monkey species in Costa Rica, all kinds of birds, an anteater, and insects. A unique experience.
