Jardin del Eden

The one thing to consider is the walk back from the beach club. It's uphill, with stairs leading to some rooms, so it could be difficult if you have mobility issues. If needed, you can drive to the lobby and walk down to the rooms. Otherwise, we'd book here again. The rooms, service, breakfast, and dinner were all great, and the location is excellent. A private walkway takes you down the hill to your private beach club, which has chairs, a bar, and restrooms. Kevin, the beach club bartender, is great.

We loved the breakfast buffet, with unlimited coffee and a great omelette and waffle station. Housekeeping came every day, and our room was clean and ready when we arrived. After our long journey, we were greeted with cold eucalyptus towels and a welcome drink. We stayed five nights as a couple, and it was perfecto! The private beach area was wonderful, with a shower and plenty of available beach chairs each day. Tamarindo and the Jardin Del Eden property are both beautiful. I'm already planning to come back next year!

After a rough experience at another place, we booked this hotel the same night and arrived around midnight. Julio at reception greeted us so warmly and explained everything. The reception and bar staff were all friendly and helpful, and we couldn't be happier with the team. The hotel is right on Tamarindo's beach street, surrounded by restaurants and shops.

The only uncomfortable part was the restaurant, which got warm because it's open-air and has no air conditioning. Everything else made for such a fun, romantic, laid-back getaway at Jardin del Eden. The food was amazing, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. We loved the private beachside pool, chairs, and bar, plus the great Tamarindo location with lots to do. When my wife got sick, they let us order room service dinner, and several staff members checked on how she was feeling the next day. We'd absolutely recommend it, 10/10.
