Bamboo Boutique Hotel

The rooms are made from metal containers, which is a neat idea, and breakfast was good. The location is handy, close to the beach and restaurants, but the rooms aren’t well kept and there are other options that seem safer. I stayed one night and believe the woman working there took my money. When I asked to see the camera footage, she said the videos were in San Jose. Please don’t stay here, it feels dangerous.

We were glad to spend our last night here. There are plenty of good restaurants nearby, plus a couple of stores with everything you might need. The receptionist, Guiselle, was attentive and really helpful. They made us a delicious breakfast at no charge: gallo pinto with scrambled eggs, fruit, orange juice, and coffee. It was better than breakfasts I’ve paid for at other restaurants. My boyfriend and I loved the distinctive style and vibe, and our room was clean, comfortable, and cool with the AC.

The employees were so sweet, and we loved our time here. It’s a relaxing place to spend time, especially by the pool when you need to cool off after the beach. The rooms are beautiful and have a great beach feel. Awesome place to stay, with a great location!

It was so peaceful here, even though the busy streets are close by, and the rooms were very clean. They’re small but comfortable, with AC. The pool is nice for relaxing and cooling down, and breakfast is simple but good. We had such a lovely time with Guiselle. She’s the sweetest, hardest-working woman on the island. We’ll definitely visit again. Muchos gracias Guiselle, Pura Vida!
