Best in Jaco Beach Front Luxury Condos

The privacy issue during checkout was the worst part. While we were packing, around 12:30, we found the safe wasn’t working and went to look for staff help. Employees then ambushed us. Some of us were still in our underwear or undressed in the bathroom. We asked for privacy to finish packing, but they refused and kept coming into our rooms while we were trying to get dressed. When we said they were invading our privacy, we asked to speak to the rental agent, Paula. She offered no help. We thought all the guests had been given a 1 pm late checkout because of the disruption and the employee’s attitude. Earlier, the first unit was nicely appointed but not very clean, the AC didn’t cool, the hot water didn’t work, and the washing machine was broken. The attendant who came after we called for help was rude and upset that we’d called. We were told hot water wasn’t that big a deal. After more than an hour of trying to get it resolved, a maintenance man named Johnny arrived. He was the only employee at Best in Jaco who was respectful and helpful. We were then moved to a different unit. This isn’t a luxury rental service, more like a Slum Lord. I definitely suggest passing on any Best in Jaco units.
