Mauricio really made our trip. We came to Costa Rica as a group of eight and stayed at Bird of Paradise Hotel in Jaco. Traveling together could have been complicated, but the team kept everything easy throughout. Mauricio was the main staff member helping us, always welcoming and in a great mood. He took care of requests, helped coordinate logistics, gave recommendations, and made sure everyone was looked after. The hotel was clean and comfortable, with a nice atmosphere for a group. It was clear the staff cared about making guests feel welcome and supported. I’d recommend staying here in Jaco, especially with a group. Mauricio left a lasting impression and helped make the trip memorable. Thanks for a great stay!

We had a great location for enjoying everything Jaco has to offer, and we can’t wait to come back. We stayed at Bird of Paradise on vacation with friends and family, traveling with our baby. All the staff were so friendly and welcoming, and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Marina greeted us each morning with a lovely breakfast made with fresh local food. Mauricio made the best coffee I’ve ever had, and Lina at the front desk kindly helped arrange our activities.

We left feeling well looked after and would happily stay again. Bird of Paradise Hotel in Jaco was a nice surprise, with staff who made us feel like family. The property was clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and you could see the team cared about both the place and its guests. The pool and courtyard had a relaxed feel, and the location was perfect. Mauricio at the bar made fantastic drinks, while Lina usually greeted us in the mornings with coffee and a smile. They both added to the personal, homey atmosphere.

I felt very safe, and got to know the employees during our stay. They gave us suggestions for dinner, beaches, and other things to do. I went for senior spring break with ten of my girlfriends, and it was fantastic. The staff treated all of us with so much care, and the service was amazing. Our rooms were really clean, and when the AC wouldn’t cool, they had it fixed within an hour. I’d definitely recommend it.

For my first ever Costa Rica trip, we stayed here for a weekend away as a couple, and it was amazing. The owners were thoughtful, caring, and so sweet. The hotel was very clean, stylish, and comfortable, with great amenities. I highly recommend it if you’re planning a visit to Jaco.
