The kitchen was nice and well equipped, and the place was clean and quiet. There are tent rooms with a mattress on the floor, and parking inside the grounds for motorcycles. It’s within walking distance of the beach, supermarket, and restaurants. But while we were there, a male staff member entered a woman’s tent and lay down beside her without her consent. The upsetting part is that he was allowed to keep living there afterward. It leaves you wondering what he might do and whether female travelers are safe with him around.

The host and staff were really friendly. The tent was OK, though the mattress was very basic. It’s a cheaper place without luxury, and you get what you pay for. A good place to stay for that kind of budget. :)

The staff were friendly, and it’s a great spot close to the beach. The beds are average, and the tents get hot, but I had a good experience overall.

The staff made us feel at home right away, helping with little problems and pointing us toward places to visit. If we're back in Jacò, Riva Jacò will be our first choice.
