Chongos Place

We spent a lot of time reading on the little terrace and watching birds. The grounds were lovely, and the small pool was refreshing. It was cloudy most of our two-night stay, but we did get a quick glimpse of the volcano. It's RIGHT THERE, what a beautiful view. The cabin was clean and had everything we needed in its small kitchen. The bed was comfortable, with good sheets and blankets, and there was Netflix on the TV for evenings. Wifi worked well, the AC was cool, and the shower was hot. It's a little outside La Fortuna, but with our rental car we liked being away from the hustle and bustle. A perfect relaxing spot.

The porch has an amazing view of Arenal Volcano, and there are several restaurants nearby. Our family rented the two rooms at the back, which had an outdoor kitchen. This is a lovely escape from the main city, closer to La Fortuna waterfall than to the city itself. There's a market and a few restaurants within walking distance, but the main city is too far to walk, so I'd recommend renting a car. A real gem on the outskirts of La Fortuna.

I slept like a rose, the mattress was so comfortable. It's close to all the activities, and the owner is lovely and helps with everything. A fantastic stay in a very quiet place. Greetings from The Netherlands

The room was very clean, and we had parking on the premises. It's a very safe place, close to some activities, with a great view of the vulcano when the sky is clear. We can definitely recommend it!
