Hotel Villas Vilma

There’s a nice pool and hot tub, and tour packages will pick you up here. Sodas and souvenir shops are within walking distance. The villa sits just outside La Fortuna, with immaculate grounds and wildlife you can watch from the porch or hammock. There's a little coffee pot, fridge, and some dishes if you don't want to eat out all the time. A great place to stay!

The grounds are exceptionally well developed and maintained. The room was spacious and clean, and the pool and jacuzzi were excellent. Staff were welcoming, quick to help, and ready to assist with anything. Highly recommend.

We booked directly, and the information before arrival was reassuring and useful. Our three-night stay was excellent value for La Fortuna. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the secure gated property sits just outside the main town. There are several good places to eat within walking distance, and a laundry across the street. The extensive gardens were immaculate, as was the pool area. The bungalows sit in a staggered row but still feel private, each with a small garden-facing terrace and hammock. Our bungalow, number 66, had a small kitchen and refrigerator, one small double bed, and two single beds. The room was simple and very clean. We heard some road noise, but it didn't disturb our sleep. Our family of four loved having a safe place to return to after exploring the area, where the children could run around freely. The trampoline was a nice extra. Villas Vilma was our favorite hotel of a 16-night trip around Costa Rica, and we'd highly recommend it to families.

The location made it easy to get to La Fortuna and the National Park, and the property felt like an attractive, inviting oasis in the middle of town. Our room was beautiful and comfortable, and we really enjoyed staying at Villas Vilma. A bathroom faucet kept running when we arrived. We told the front desk, and someone came to fix it very quickly. We'd definitely recommend this hotel.
