The room was sparse, and we had to ask for a chair. They brought an Adirondack chair from the pool, which wasn't really usable at the desk. The photos made the hot tub look appealing, but they were kiddie pools and both were very cold, so we never enjoyed them. There was reptile poop on the pillow when we arrived. The shower and the ramp out of it were extremely slippery, so we laid towels down to avoid falling. A leaking sink left water all over the floor and made things even more slippery. We stayed just one of our two nights, and they accommodated us, so credit to them for the customer service.

The place is amazing, and the rooms are very nice. We arrived late without a reservation, but the lovely woman at reception helped us with everything.

We stopped here between Puerto Viejo Limon and SJO. The cabin has a very rustic feel. The Wi-Fi didn't work for us, and neither did the TV remote, but dinner at the restaurant was good and breakfast was free.

This is a relaxed, friendly, reasonably priced hotel that works well for a stop while traveling around the area. Ingrid, the manager, is terrific. The on-site restaurant was a real surprise for such a small hotel and is top notch. The sopa de camarones was fantastic, and there's enough for two.

Small and neat, right in the jungle, with nice food and drinks. I just didn't like being charged 10k colon for checking out 45 minutes late.
