We spent the night here before an early flight home, and the free shuttle was prompt and friendly. Even though we arrived very late, the staff were understanding and helpful. The rooms are compact, but clean and modern, and breakfast was fine. A handy option if you arrive late or need to leave early, with a very friendly team.

The breakfast was a pleasant surprise, with hot food and local Costa Rican coffee. Staff kept checking the temperature, so the food seemed fresh. The lobby and pool are nice, and check-in was easy, with parking right by the entrance. Our room was very clean and modern, though on the small side, and the bed was decent. It was one of the pricier places in Liberia. I might look at other locations for a better room size and price next time, but I can't compare since I didn't stay elsewhere in Liberia. The check-in host and breakfast cooks were really friendly. Compared with most Hampton Inns in the US, this one was significantly better.

I had to cancel because of a death in my family, and gave them more than two weeks' notice. They still charged me and said they needed a death certificate to issue a refund. That felt offensive and insensitive. I sent the obituary and got no response. The money matters a lot to my family, even if it may not matter much to a large company. They provided no service, yet kept the payment. I wouldn't expect this from Hilton. Support a smaller business and avoid this company.

The location was great, with lots nearby, and the free airport shuttle was excellent. Breakfast had lots of choices and was delicious. The restaurant food was good and reasonably priced, though its posted hours said 10 pm and it actually closed at 9. It would help to have a QR code menu in the rooms so guests could see what's available and order there. Our room was very cramped, with a queen bed and a corner couch leaving little space to move. The pull-out couch for my daughter was noisy, and no bedding had been left for it. We also only had two large towels and two smaller ones, which wasn't enough. The small fridge and coffee machine were nice, but there was no microwave. No one told us we'd need a key to use the elevator, or where to find pool towels or leave used ones. The pool area was quiet and pleasant, though you could hear the Starbucks drive-through orders and cars. The lobby shop was a rip-off: nothing had prices, and I nearly lost it at what I paid for a chocolate bar, candy, two cans, a pop, and chips.
