Hotel Yadran

The staff were nice, but the room was old and ugly. The WiFi didn't work well, and the door lock wasn't in good condition. There were no hand towels or shower mat. I asked for a continental breakfast, and the only good part was the coffee.

We ducked into the bar to get out of the rain. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and the cocktails were inexpensive and really well made.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and it was handy to have safe parking in a locked lot at the back. The location was good for getting to the port and ferry, and there was a nice sea view from the balcony. The room and hotel are very outdated and could use a spruce-up, though they were generally clean. WiFi was poor except at reception, and the bed creaked a lot when we moved. Vegan breakfast choices were very limited, basically fruit or toast with jam. It was an okay stay at Yadran.

The breakfast was the worst part: dried-out, overcooked scrambled eggs, bread toasted white on one side, and some mystery meat. The place was dirty throughout, with garbage on the floor when we arrived. The door lock was useless. There were no water glasses or bath mats, and just two clean towels for a five-day stay. The pool was a disgusting brownish green. The staff were kind of rude, and the place was so run down that even the bed had bugs, so I would have chosen the floor otherwise. You'd have to pay me to come back. Stay away.
