The rooms had plenty of space, and I especially liked having a patio. We also found the resort easy to get around, with great amenities. At the restaurant and pool, the service went above and beyond. When our group was squeezed around one table, the attendants noticed and brought us extra tables and chairs without us having to ask. Loved our stay and would come back, 10/10.

The hot tub was such a treat, and the whole property felt peaceful and relaxing. My room was spacious, had a lovely lake view, and the bed was so comfortable it nearly became the main event of my trip. I also loved the huge shower and the line in the bathroom for drying clothes. The ceviche was amazing, definitely try it! Brian was a great manager, and everyone I met on staff was kind and helpful. They arranged my excursions, too, and my guide KEVIN was SOOOO AWESOME. They made my birthday trip one of my best ever, and I felt very safe traveling solo. The grounds were beautiful, and I can't say enough good things about Tilajari Hotel Resort La Fortuna. I'll book again next time I'm in La Fortuna. Sorry I didn't get many photos, these are screenshots from videos.

Pedro's free morning bird watching tour was wonderful, and you should join it. Harvey did a great job guiding the coffee experience, José gave us lovely restaurant service, and Gustavo and the rest of the reception team were very helpful. The hotel is a little outside La Fortuna, so it's a good idea to sign up for activities. You'll still have time to enjoy the pool, gym, and other facilities. We had a fantastic stay.

There was lots of wildlife around the beautiful gardens, and the comfortable room, pool, and jacuzzi made this feel like a little haven. The waiting staff were excellent, especially Diego, Jose snd Carlos. Had a really great time and would happily return any time.

The hotel was a great base for exploring Costa Rica's incredible natural beauty, and once there we enjoyed the views and great service. Getting there from the airport takes about 2.5 hrs, though the mountain road winds up and down along the way.
