Blue Serenity Hotel

Angel at the front desk is well connected and helped us set up several activities, including a boat trip, fishing, zip-lining, an ATV tour, and an airport shuttle. We spent a week at Blue Serenity and had a 10/10 experience. It’s a short walk to great food like Burrito Amor and Cool Bus, and either a short golf cart ride or a 12-minute walk to Guiones Beach. We caught waves every day. After the beach, we used the outdoor shower and pool. There’s also a shared kitchenette for cutting fruit, making drinks, or keeping larger things cool if they don’t fit in your room fridge. The rooms were clean and had what we needed, with great AC for sleeping well and cooling off from the heat. There are a few common areas, so it’s a good fit if you like meeting other travelers. I’m definitely going back to Nosara, but only if I can stay at Blue Serenity.

Angel and Margarita were so helpful and kind, and went out of their way for me and the group I was with. The outdoor areas were relaxing, and the location was handy for getting to the beach and the ‘downtown’. A golf cart is a great way to explore. I had an amazing time here, would absolutely recommend staying, and can’t wait to come back someday!

The staff made us feel at home as soon as we arrived, sharing local tips and helping us book surf lessons and ATV rentals. The whole place had a laid-back, peaceful, welcoming feel. Blue Serenity was the highlight of our Costa Rica trip. It’s a small surf hotel tucked into Nosara, with comfortable rooms that were spotless and nicely designed with local touches. The bed was seriously comfortable after long days surfing and exploring. We liked having fresh fruit and coffee by the pool in the morning, then hearing the ocean at night. It’s a short walk to the beach, good cafes, and yoga studios. If you want a relaxing place with a bit of soul, away from the beaten path, this is it. Can’t wait to return!

Angel at the front desk was so welcoming and helpful, and breakfast at Naked Foods, just a few minutes down the road, was totally delicious. My room was gorgeous, clean, and really comfortable, and I was glad to have AC. The hotel is in a great spot, a few minutes’ walk into the local town and a little farther to Playa Pelada. A restful way to end my time in Costa Rica!
