I stayed at Olas Verdes for eight nights in May 2026, and already miss how restorative it felt. The wildlife around the property, which is surrounded by jungle, was part of everyday life. The two-minute walk to the beach along the jungle path became one of my favorite parts of each day. It felt like an immersion, not just a shortcut. The staff made the stay. Everyone brought real Pura Vida energy, and it felt like staying with family. Kiara at the restaurant remembered my name each morning and had my breakfast preferences down by the second day. Lewis, the manager, sorted out a minor issue right away and checked back to make sure it was resolved. He seemed to care about how I was actually enjoying the stay. Check-in and check-out with reception were seamless, and everyone was warm and welcoming. I also enjoyed the peaceful yoga shala tucked into the jungle and had an excellent massage on-site. The therapist was skilled, there was no upselling, just solid work. Between the location, nature, staff, and overall vibe, it all came together. If you want ease, warmth, nature, and real rest in Nosara, I’d recommend Olas Verdes without hesitation.

Just left Olas Verdes and I’m already missing it. It’s a peaceful place where you can hang out by the pool, at the beach, on your beautiful patio, or in any of the other outdoor spaces. If you want to get active, there are surf lessons at a great surf school, nature tours, and nearby yoga or Spanish lessons. The staff are INCREÍBLE, and the vibe is agradable. Friendly guests add to the community feel. El Manglar, the on-site restaurant, serves fresh food that looks as good as it tastes. My favorite breakfast was los plátanos poderosos, plantains with kale and perfectly braised tofu, topped with a flavorful coconut cream sauce.

The welcoming, helpful staff made this place feel like a delightful oasis. We loved watching iguanas in the trees from the pool, cooling off there in the afternoons and evenings, then catching sunset at the beach. It’s just a two-minute walk, with great surf vibes. The on-site restaurant and bar are fantastic and sit right next to the main pool. We also liked taking the bikes into town and appreciated the hotel’s care for the environment. We’d absolutely stay again!

We loved our stay at Olas Verdes and are already planning another. The rooms were spacious and clean, the staff kind and attentive, and the restaurant served excellent food. We enjoyed every meal, especially breakfast. I also appreciated that the LEED Platinum building takes conservation seriously. They set a very high bar for hospitality and customer service.

The beach is only a few steps away, and the rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. Olas Verdes was a beautiful place in a peaceful natural setting, with friendly staff who were genuinely attentive and always ready to help. I especially appreciated their commitment to sustainability. They gave us beautiful reusable bottles to refill with fresh water instead of handing out plastic ones. The restaurant had delicious, fresh food, just right after a day at the beach or surfing. I’d recommend Olas Verdes to anyone looking for rest, nature, and great service in Nosara. I’ll be back!
