The water activities were a highlight for my friend and me. We kayaked and paddleboarded around the island, spotting fish and stingrays, and the bioluminescent night tour was unforgettable. It was like stars shimmering in the water, and our guide helped us get some great photos. We also loved waking up to animal sounds, spotting monkeys, and watching sunset from our tent. Isla Chiquita Glamping Hotel is surrounded by nature, and the whole place felt peaceful and almost magical. From the ferry pickup through our last day, we had a wonderful stay and found it easy to relax and disconnect. Angie gave me an excellent massage, made even more relaxing by the ocean breeze and views. The food was delicious too, especially the fresh seafood, juices, and cocktails made with fresh fruit. Everyone was friendly and attentive, and I liked seeing the hotel support local products and employees. I’d highly recommend it and would love to return.

The island itself felt like paradise, with howler monkeys, birds, and lizards all around, and we really didn’t want to leave. Our tents were beautiful and comfortable, and the food was fresh and tasty. We also thought the bioluminescence and snorkeling tours were well organized and good value. We spent two wonderful nights here. The staff were genuinely helpful and couldn’t do enough for us. Since we were taking the last ferry, they even let us stay until 4 pm. Thanks again for such a phenomenal end to our time in Costa Rica 🇨🇷 pura vida!

The restaurant and breakfast were very good, with a great view. There’s a pool, trail, playground, kayaks, and SUP, so we’d recommend staying a couple of days. It’s a special place, and the tents let you feel connected to nature and the island. We had a relaxing stay with our kids, and the staff and service were amazing. Just remember there’s no shop, so buy what you need beforehand.

We booked several outings during our week at Isla Chiquita: snorkeling and Isla Tortuga, the bioluminescence experience, a Curu Reserve tour, and birdwatching. Rico, the main guide, was friendly and shared lots of information about the area that I wouldn't have known otherwise. The property is beautiful and very well maintained, the food is delicious, and the service was amazing. The howler monkeys are adorable too. The staff were responsive and friendly from my first inquiry right through our stay. I highly recommend adding this hotel to a Costa Rican vacation.

I was charged the full price for the two-night booking, over $730, even though I gave two weeks’ notice that I couldn’t come. There had been a death in my family, and I explained that I was grieving, but they denied my request not to be charged. My partner and I had booked the stay. This feels like robbery. Don’t stay here.
