Tango Mar Beachfront Boutique Hotel & Villas

Paradise, that's the word for it. We couldn't believe a place like this existed outside the movies. The location was fantastic, and every staff member we met was respectful, friendly, and attentive. The chefs did a skilled job across the breakfast, bar, and evening menus, and there was lots to choose from. Hilda, the proprietor, came around and spoke with guests herself. We made wonderful memories here. It's a gorgeous boutique Hotel, with amazing ocean views from both our room and the restaurant. The owner is a sweetheart and personally checked in on the guests every day. The staff were friendly and attentive. Definitely the best hotel in the area!

The staff made us feel special, and the owner was so warm and welcoming. The food was excellent, too. We spent three wonderful days at Tango Mar for our 30th wedding anniversary, with a breathtaking ocean view from our room. We'd love to come back to a place with so much heart and soul.

We came as a multigenerational family, with children and older relatives, and everyone found something to enjoy. That's a rare quality. The staff were kind, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, and the kitchen consistently made excellent meals that our whole group enjoyed. The property is beautiful, immaculately clean, and set in an extraordinary spot near the airport, with breathtaking ocean views. From arrival, everything felt calm and carefully looked after. The owner and manager is a wonderful European professional whose attention to detail and thoughtful touches give Tangomar an elegant, warm atmosphere. We had a wonderful time, made lasting memories, and would happily return. We highly recommend Tangomar to families and anyone looking for a refined, peaceful, memorable stay in Costa Rica.
