The manager was very easy to work with, and the location is lovely, near the beach and some amazing restaurants. My kitchen studio was clean, newly renovated, and modern. I’d definitely stay again!

Staying at this hotel seems to be an afterthought for Miriam and Stacey, who appear to care more about the restaurant out front. The room was cheap, as expected for the price, but it had a small TV, flickering lights that would worry anyone with epilepsy, a loud floor, and no bathroom curtains, so someone on the street can see you. The layout lacks privacy, the walls are thin, and guests have to walk through El Huerto restaurant instead of using a separate entrance. Parking is on the street without security. Stacey contacted me at 10 pm about paying by PayPal, or cash, since cards weren’t accepted, even though Miriam had said I could settle it at checkout. At 8 am on checkout day, Stacey still couldn’t send a PayPal invoice. I spent two hours driving around Guanacaste and Tamarindo looking for an ATM that worked. When I got back to clear out the room, there was the PayPal invoice. They didn’t even come out to collect the keys. This is Central America, and businesses cut corners. To me, this place shows poor planning, lazy management, and a cheap product.

A nice little hotel. The rooms aren’t very big, but they’re very clean and the beds are good. I also recommend the pizzas at the attached restaurant, El Huerto!
