Vladimir really made our stay. He was a joy to be around and always made sure we were looked after. We spent about a week here at the end of January and loved it, especially being just a two-minute walk from the beach and within walking distance of other restaurants. I only wish their own restaurant were open again.

The Italian food was so good that, as an Italian, I could imagine choosing this restaurant over plenty of places in central Milan. Enrico, the owner, and the whole team were warm and welcoming, which made the stay even better. The hotel is only a three-minute walk from Playa Grande. I’d absolutely recommend it.

We had four lovely days here, a welcome little hideaway during our motorbike trip along the PanAmericana. The staff were warm, courteous, and very helpful, and the rooms were comfortable. The pool area is beautifully laid out, with trees that make it a nice place to spend hot afternoons. The restaurant serves heartfelt, authentic Italian food, proper soul food, and even limoncello at the end. As a restaurateur, I do wish it showed up on Google; it’s a gem that deserves more attention. We got a great stay for the price. Thanks, El Reinas team, and keep it up!

We came for the homemade fresh pasta after spotting the sign, and it was some of the best I’ve ever eaten. We make pasta at home and have visited Italy several times, so I don’t say that lightly. Get the ravioli with sage butter! Uri was lovely to chat with, too, and made the best piña coladas we had on the trip. His secret is adding a little vanilla ice cream.
