Horizon Lodge

The ocean view from the room was stunning, with mountains visible in the distance. We also had the pleasure of diving with Chris, who runs the dive shop on the property. He’s one of the most knowledgeable and skilled divers I’ve ever gone with, a world-class experience. The unit was thoughtfully designed and felt cozy while making good use of every square foot. The kitchen had everything we needed, and having a washer and dryer was a huge convenience. The grounds were secure and consistently well-maintained, with easy parking and gate access. Our host was very hospitable, communication was clear and prompt, and arriving was easy. Horizon Lodge was one of the nicest rentals we’ve experienced, and we’re already looking forward to coming back. It set a new standard for quality and hospitality.

Horizon gave us everything we wanted in a home base for our trip. The living space was comfortable and clean, with a full kitchen, and the view was amazing. We got all the details we needed in the thorough communication beforehand. Several of the nicest beaches are just a short drive away. Thanks!

After morning dives, I loved unwinding by the pool, and the gym was a nice extra for keeping active. I spent 3 nights at Horizon Lodge and found it so peaceful and tranquil. The apartment was beautifully equipped, from the well-stocked kitchen to the thoughtful amenities throughout. Chris and Nadia were kind, welcoming, and attentive hosts. I highly recommend it for comfort, relaxation, and great hospitality.

Chris’ scuba diving instruction was an incredible first-time experience for us. His suggestions for things to do in Portrero were spot on, and he knows the area very well. Chris and Nadia were professional, attentive to detail, and made us feel at home. They went above and beyond, and this was one of our best vacations yet. The accommodations are clean and tastefully decorated. The sunsets are daily showstoppers, and we highly recommend staying here.
