The staff were wonderful and served the best food I had in Costa Rica. The location was lovely too, and the room was nice for the price.

Roy made the stay special, sharing lots of information about the area and going out of his way to make sure we had a good time. The property is beautiful, right by the river and close to the ocean, and our room was very nice. He’s a super cool owner. If you want a local Costa Rica experience, this is the place.

A lovely place to recharge in the middle of a long camping trip. Roy was welcoming and kind, and the room was clean, with Wi-Fi, AC, and hot showers. We also made breakfast in his outdoor kitchen. I’ll definitely come back.

Roy was thrilled to point out the scarlet macaws in the trees the next day and tell us stories about his life. He was a ray of sunshine when we needed a break from a severe lightning storm on our camping trip. The rooms were clean and very affordable, maybe the cheapest in the area, with AC and hot showers. We enjoyed the lawn and outdoor kitchen the next morning. I’d stay again and recommend it to anyone.

We liked how peaceful the place was. The owner was very kind and helpful, and the room was clean, spotless, and spacious, with a large bathroom and all the standard essentials. For the beach and breakfast, we went to Uvita, about 20 minutes away.
