We were there for an environmental issues class, and they gave us a tour of all the plants. There was live music and delicious food, too. The view was amazing and the service wonderful. Everyone is super nice here. If you’re new in town and want a fantastic hotel, this is the one for you. I highly recommend it for newcomers to Costa Rica.

You’ll need a rental car to explore the area, but this was a really enjoyable stay and a great base for doing so. The view is as the name suggests, with lovely breezes. The food was excellent, and the staff were great: they helped plan our stay, offered good recommendations and made us feel welcome.

A tropical paradise with beautiful villas and a lovely pool, both worth the stay. The ocean views are fantastic, the atmosphere is friendly and the staff are great. Dinner at sunset was gorgeous and delicious. You can swim or dine while watching the sun go down over the ocean. Beautiful!

The view is a killer. Orlando gave us very friendly service, and hotel manager John Dinsmore greeted me by name, a simple but nice touch. The room fee included the standard breakfast, and they also offered us a ration of gallo pinto, which we appreciated as locals. Happy hour ran from 5 to 6, with cocktails and beers at half the regular price. I paid 14000 colones, about 25 usd, for three pina coladas and one local beer.
