The restaurant and pool were okay, but what really impressed us was how helpful the staff were. We ran out of cash and they drove us to an ATM. When we had questions about a surfing trip, they called the company and helped arrange the travel. We arrived late, and check-in got off to a slightly negative start. Then the Wi-Fi was a mess, but after we complained they rebooted it and things improved. They do a good job of exceeding customer expectations.

There was no hot water, and we only got one towel and a tiny bar of soap. The door had just a key lock, even from inside. There was a coffee maker with cups but no coffee, and although they said the restaurant would have coffee at 7, it didn't.

I only tried the restaurant. The ceviche was excellent and fairly priced. There aren't many choices on the menu, but what we had was fresh, good quality, and served fairly quickly.

A quaint, pleasant spot in Tambor. The pool is cool, the staff are welcoming and friendly, and the rooms are basic but perfectly decent.

The price was good, but there were lots of cockroaches and ants. Showers were cold, and the Wi-Fi didn't work.
