We really liked having a kitchen for breakfast before heading out early, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. You can walk to the bus stop in about 10 minutes, which worked well for us without a car. The apartment was spotless and comfortable, with a great new bathroom and shower, and it had everything we needed. The staff were friendly and spoke English very well. Quepos is less touristy than Manuel Antonio village, and we were careful walking around at night, though we felt safe. A great base for visiting Manuel Antonio national park.

Quepos can feel a little sketchy, and this place is in a part of town I didn't like much. Once inside, though, the room and the service were great. If you plan to cook and don't mind having few interesting things within walking distance, it could suit you. For me, the location was the main drawback.

A rooster did wake us up, but otherwise we were really happy here. It was clean and felt new, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The air conditioning worked well, which you really need in this climate. Better than we expected for the price.

Plan to arrive before 8pm. We paid roughly 75 USD for two queen beds. The rooms were clean and nice, with air conditioning, a hot shower, and a small kitchen with a stove, microwave, and fridge.
