Christian, the owner, was very pleasant and helpful. We rested well and enjoyed our stay. The area felt very secure, and "Casa Encantada" is handy for shopping and Manuel Antonio Park, less than a 10-minute drive away. The place was comfortable, cool, and clean, with a practical kitchen and appliances. It can be hard to find, so I recommend locating it in daylight on your first day, following Waze, and driving an SUV for the steep road and gravel driveway. After your first trip in and out, you’ll be a pro! Costa Rica, Pura Vida!

The place had everything a traveler could need. The main issue was how thin the walls between apartments were. You could hear the neighbors talking and snoring very clearly, and the air conditioning was really loud, both ours and theirs.

It’s small, but the beauty makes up for the size. You can hear parrots and see lots of monkeys here. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked great, and the shower had strong pressure and hot water. I’d definitely stay again, and for more than one night next time.

Really good place for the money. It could use a proper table for eating snacks. They’re building a bar and rooftop on the property, so there was a bit of noise during the day.
