Gustavo Rojas was very nice and ready to help with anything. For our three nights, this was just right, and the price for what you get is good. The apartment was clean, with comfortable beds, a spacious bed and living room, a well-equipped kitchen for cooking and making your own juegos, and a clean fridge. Our son slept on the couch, which pulls out into a bed. The shower was hot and had good pressure. It's a 9-minute walk to catch the bus to Manuel Antonio (Park and beach). The ride costs 370 CRC per person and takes about 20 minutes, then it's another 7-minute walk to the park. Buy tickets online only!! Supermarkets are about three blocks away: Pali (cheapest), Mini Price Store (expensive), and Super Jordix (in between, and one more block toward the centre).

We paid $76 for two nights. The place is really spacious and has a free laundry machine, though the cooker is slow. They'd agreed to a lower price and kindly stuck to it after realizing they'd made a mistake.

The apartments are simple, but have what you need. The host was friendly and helpful, and the price felt well worth it.

A really nice hostel, with a kitchen you can use and hot water.
