Mango Moon Villa

The view is the big draw here. From our spacious balcony we watched monkeys playing early in the morning and enjoyed the sunset. Breakfast was a hit each day, with fresh fruit, juices, omelets, and gallo pinto. Dinner was outstanding too, a treat to find authentic Korean food in Manuel Antonio. We stayed three nights in a family ocean view room. It was roomy for two adults, basic, and clean, though we mostly used it to sleep. The towels and bedding felt very thin and overused, and a little starter coffee for the kitchenette would have been nice. A refresh of the room might have made us want to lounge there more. We did relax by the pool, which also has that beautiful view. The road right outside is under construction, so there's a lot of dirt and dust around. It's not Mango Moon's fault, but it could be tough if you're allergic to dust. If a simple place with a great view, good food, and lots of nature suits you, this could work well.

The location made it easy to enjoy the local walkable beaches and restaurants, and the staff were super friendly and helpful. We saw several monkeys, toucans, and other wildlife during our few nights here. There wasn't really active nightlife, but we still had a great time. Definitely recommend.

We saw a toucan at breakfast, which came with a lovely ocean view. The small hotel had a very clean room with everything we needed, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Book early if you're staying in town, since only one night was available for our dates.

The view is unbeatable. We also had a great dose of nature, with monkeys running around at breakfast and so many toucans. The restaurant was good, if a little pricey, and its authentic Korean food was a fun find. It's a more intimate setup, more like a B&B than a big hotel, but still has many of the larger place amenities. Happy hour was nice too. Just know that Playa Biesanz is a healthy walk away, though only a short drive.
