We only wanted hot water and internet before a long stretch without amenities. They advertise having both, but neither worked for us. The internet was so bad it might as well not have existed, even email was useless, and the water wasn’t hot at all. The little rooms were decent, but the two things we specifically wanted, which they said they had, just weren’t there.

A good spot for relaxing, but you’ll need a car to get around from here. Our room was large, the beds were comfortable, and we could use the shared kitchen. There’s also a restaurant on the property, plus a pool and laundry facilities for an extra charge. The staff were really friendly and helpful.

We enjoyed sitting outside in the central space and still having the privacy we wanted. The rooms are arranged in groups of four in roundhouses, and they have great beds. From the bar, you can watch the pool and take in the rainforest view. The restaurant serves delicious food and a great breakfast, and the coffee is fresh and tasty. The bar has an informal feel, though they weren’t prepared for a group of 20 single people looking for a nice evening. It’s a great hotel with nice rooms.

The staff were friendly, and our room was clean, but the suites felt seriously overpriced and the WiFi was bad. Breakfast was too meager for us: scrambled eggs, salty gallo pinto, and six pieces of fruit. There were parking spaces all over the place, taking up room where nice gardens could have been.

The pool and the area around it are very well cared for, and there’s a full restaurant with an airy feel and excellent service. Victoria, the owner, is friendly and welcoming, and the pizza is really good. Lovely place, highly recommended!
