Lodge Las Estrellas de Samara

We were three people in a very spacious apartment, decorated with care and immediately homey. The view from this mountain property in Sámara was the most beautiful I've ever experienced. Waking to howler monkeys and swimming in the pool with that panorama felt magical. Our Belgian hosts welcomed us so warmly. Nathan and his parents were thoughtful and went far beyond what we expected. I mentioned in passing that I don't eat white flour, and Nathan bought special flour to make pancakes for me without being asked. Everything was spotless, fresh flowers greeted us, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The breakfasts were outstanding, the best we've ever had. We found it truly hard to leave after five days. We're continuing around Costa Rica, but I already know no other place will compare. This place feels special in every way, like being part of the family instead of a guest.

The incredible view and delicious breakfast made the stay fantastic, and Nathan and his family were wonderful hosts. The apartments are very well cared for. Getting there is a bit of an adventure the first time, but it's absolutely worth it. We loved it and will definitely visit again someday.

We were lucky enough to see a family of howler monkeys in the tree beside the deck. Nathan and his family were friendly and glad to help with anything. Playa Corrillo is an absolute must, the best beach there.

The view is incredible, and the bungalow was comfortable with everything I could need for a short or long stay. The pool was great, and swimming with scenery like that is wonderful. Most of all, Nathan and his family made me feel at home, and I learned a lot about Samara and the surrounding area. The breakfast was the best I've had at any lodge, hotel, or bed and breakfast. Staying at Las Estrellas felt like a dream, and I can't wait to return.
