Casa Jardin Del Mango

It feels more like staying at a friend's home than an impersonal chain hotel, and the price was decent too. The secluded garden is a peaceful place for coffee or tea, which is included, or your own breakfast, which isn't. Sit on the little deck with the fountain cascading and turtles and koi nearby. It's a tucked-away guesthouse in a convenient, safe location, with really friendly, helpful staff. Shout out to Quétu and César.

Our family of three stayed two nights, and we'd happily return if we come back to Super Junior. The staff and owner were very friendly. The garden and surroundings were lovely, and our baby could crawl safely and happily on the floor. The room and beds were clean, tidy, and comfortable. We also liked the spacious kitchen and relaxing dining area.

We came through SAN Jose for one night and loved the place. The neighborhood felt safe, and the property has so much character, with clean shared spaces and a well-stocked kitchen. The beautiful garden, with its mango tree, fountains, turtles, and fish, was a lovely spot for morning coffee. A great host and a lovely stay. I'd come back again and again for this little city sanctuary 💚

I used this inexpensive place for my final night in San Jose before my flight the next day. The rooms are dated, so don't expect too much for the price. It's not a luxury resort, but it does the job. Maria and the other staff were very helpful and accommodating. Maria suggested The Moose restaurant, which was good, though small. I went for breakfast there. Get the espresso, since their regular coffee is on the weak side.
