Alyson and Justin were wonderful hosts, friendly, helpful, and full of information. Warren drove our airport shuttle, and everyone kept in touch throughout the trip, which helped me feel secure on my first visit to Costa Rica. The place was clean, nicely decorated, and had a good price and location, plus pleasant outdoor seating areas. Other guests were respectful and quiet. I couldn't have asked for better service and will always come back. 10/10, I recommend it!

We went back in December 2024. The place is nice and quiet, with a gated area. Our private room had two beds and was really spacious. It was also easy to walk from the hostel to different places.

The hostel is beautiful and clean, and its design feels carefully thought through. Everyone on the team was helpful, especially Justin, who we dealt with most. He knew a lot and gave us plenty of useful recommendations. I'd definitely recommend staying here in San Jose.

A clean, well-run hostel in a handy location, with lots of restaurants within walking distance and a safe-feeling area. The staff were welcoming and very helpful. We had towels, but there was no breakfast. The kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook for yourself. Dorm beds were comfortable, though the open layout meant we could hear people talking and walking past.

The dorm beds are top quality, and the whole place feels relaxed and comfortable. I wasn't too keen on the location since it's safe but a little away from the center. Luckily there's a bus stop right on the corner. This is probably the best place to stay in San Jose, and I'll most likely return if I'm in the area.
