Hotel B&B Garden Grecia

A great base for Poas national park or a local coffee tour. The garden is lovely for relaxing, and there's a swimming pool to cool off in. Very friendly host, and the place feels authentic and pure!

There are flowers all over this pretty property, with several kinds of accommodation. I was in a standard room in an older building, and it smelled a little. With the fan running and the windows open, it was okay. The walls are thin, though. The girls a few doors down were loud, and the first night the man next to me snored so much it was hard to sleep. Things were better the next two nights after he left, but the girls still woke me a couple of times. The couple who run the place make a nice breakfast each morning, and the dining area is pleasant. It's secure and felt safe, and there are restaurants nearby. No a/c, but I didn't need it. The TV worked, though the remote was odd and I think one channel button was broken. There was a stain on the room chair. The shower was standard, with appreciated hot water.

I've liked it enough to become a long-term renter. Ronald and Illyana put in a lot of work, and Damaris is a terrific housekeeper. Breakfast is fresh and made to order.

Renaldo, the owner, is such a kind man and takes good care of you while you're visiting the area. The rooms are perfectly adequate and a great value.
