My mom and I couldn’t have asked for a better start to our mother-daughter trip. Alejandra and Ken took care of every request, from a massage and laundry to a bottle of prosecco, quickly and without hesitation. We even received an upgrade and had our own sauna. We began our Costa Rican vacation at the lovely Finca Paraiso retreat near San Jose. The view was beautiful, the flowers were stunning, the beds were super comfortable, and breakfast was homemade and delicious. Alejandra and Ken were excellent hosts. Muchas gracias again, and all the best to you both.

Ken and Alejandra were so welcoming and kind, and helped us sort out some of our travel logistics. The driver who took us to the airport was great too. My wife and I stayed for our last night before flying out, and we were glad we did. The property is beautiful, our room was very nice, and the bed was one of the most comfortable of the four places we stayed on our trip. Breakfast was delicious. We’d highly recommend it.

Ken and Alejandra were incredibly kind and provided outstanding service. The grounds are unbelievably beautiful, the finest destination we’ve experienced in all our travels. It’s so lovely that botanical gardens could come here for ideas. Highly recommend.

Ken and Alejandra made us feel like part of the family. You can tell how much heart they put into the place, and their personal care made us feel at home. The setting is gorgeous, with hydrangeas, orange and avocado trees, coffee plants, and more. It’s peaceful as soon as you arrive, like stepping into another world. The location worked really well for us, about an hour from the airport, and it was easy to get around by Uber. The village felt completely safe, and we could reach a great restaurant quickly. Of all the places we’ve stayed in Costa Rica, Finca Paraiso is our favorite. We’ll be back. It feels like home and an escape at the same time.
