Guest reviews
Quiet and relaxed hostel with European and Costa Rican owners. Our large private room with 2 beds and a private bath was $30. The hostel and room is clean and well maintained. Breakfast of fruit, toast, and coffee (and eggs if you ask) is included and served by the owners in the morning. The kitchen is well equipped and we cooked dinner all three nights while sharing some glasses of wine with one of the owners, and learning about Costa Rica. Information on tours is available, and we were even given recommendations for a free hike to a hollowed out tree that can be climbed from the inside. This

A cute and cozy little B&B! The owner, Rene, is very nice and can speak good English. Breakfast consists of fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, and toast with homemade jam. The patio offers beautiful views of the town and surrounding mountains. Unfortunately I have to take off a star because water somehow leaked out of the bathroom corner and onto the bedroom floor when the shower was running. Also, there was minimal hot water and the electric showerhead sometimes threw sparks.
We had an amazing stay! The rooms are small but clean and totally sufficient for a few nights. The breakfast, consisting of coffee delicious pancakes, fresh fruit and some homemade jam, was very good. The owner was super friendly and helpful.
