The grounds have a big open-air lounging area with hammocks, and I spotted white-faced monkeys, agouti, and kinkajou there. Rooms are basic, and the bed wasn't the most comfortable, but for the price it felt like good value. The front desk can arrange taxis and excursions that pick you up right at reception. I'd stay here again.

The grounds had a lovely, well-kept walking path, and the staff were friendly and quick. Breakfast wasn't to my taste. We also had trouble with the water: first there was no pressure, and after that was fixed, there was no hot water.

The service was excellent, though the rooms are very basic. Their tin roofs and the trees around them make for a noisy night when it's windy, and I woke up several times.

We saw lots of wildlife around the property, including agutis, motmots, coati armadillo, and hummingbirds. There are shops and restaurants nearby, too. Our room was warm and had what we needed, including a refrigerator and kettle, and it was serviced daily. Breakfast was nice, and the reception and kitchen staff were kind.

Hummingbirds visited outside our window every morning, and the forest sounds made a lovely backdrop for sleeping. The grounds are full of wildlife, and the rooms were comfortable, so it suited us as a couple who enjoy nature. Breakfast was delicious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect stay.
