Paris Confort B&B

We came back for a second stay and loved it again. The private patio is a lovely spot to spend a slow day watching birds and butterflies, while the hilltop sunset can be a special treat. On clear days you can see all the way to the Pacific, and mornings bring a welcoming cloud forest mist. It’s clean, comfortable, and hospitable, close to town and all the adventure spots in Monteverde. Can’t wait to return.

The cabin was immaculate when we arrived, and the fridge was stocked with all the basics, plus fresh eggs from nearby chickens. There’s a good working kitchen, separate sinks for him and her, a large shower, and a cozy private outdoor sitting area. It was a lot of comfort for the price. David is a gracious host who takes pride in sharing the property’s history and giving advice on what to see and where to eat. We were tipped off to this Monteverde gem by a friend. It’s just minutes from town, with a local craft brewery right next door. We liked the vibe enough to extend our stay, and the fact that David is a big Rush fan like me was a fun bonus. Hope to visit again.

Birds were singing all around when I woke up, and the view just outside the window was beautiful. It was a really peaceful, quiet week. David was a great host, and the rooms were comfortable and very clean. I’ll definitely come back!

The room was cozy, comfortable, and full of eclectic furnishings. I stayed upstairs in the fourplex for two nights in the last week of February 2020. Breakfast in the room was enjoyable and satisfying, especially for an early start. The bed was soft, though the pillows were lumpy. At night, barking dogs at a neighboring house kept making noise until about 9:30. We also requested a coffee and chocolate tour through the on-site booking service, but they didn’t book it, and by then the tour was full.
