Senda Monteverde Hotel Member of the Cayuga Collection

The grounds were gorgeous and the atmosphere so peaceful. Our spacious, beautiful room was also very clean. There’s no AC, but the evenings were cool, and sleeping with the windows open was comfortable. The hotel is right in the heart of Santa Elena/Monteverde, so town and the attractions are easy to reach. The staff were attentive, and the on-site restaurant was very good. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Monteverde. We can’t wait to come back!

Senda Hotel was a fantastic experience. Nahuel and the kitchen staff were always so nice, and the food they made was amazing. Breakfast was wonderful too. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the staff are great. We took the ceviche class and joined both the night and daytime walks. There are great options for everyone. It’s pricey, but worth it. We spent three nights at Hotel Senda Monteverde, and the service was excellent from arrival to departure. The staff were incredibly helpful, our room was perfect for the two of us, and the property is beautiful. We spotted lots of plants and animals just walking around, and loved the private trails. We did two tours, the coffee tour on-site and a night tour off-site. Both were excellent and ran flawlessly. Breakfast was really good: you order from a menu, then also get fruit and banana bread. We ate dinner at the hotel all three nights, and the food was excellent with plenty of variety. I recommend Hotel Senda without hesitation.

The cabin was clean, spacious, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. Getting to downtown Monteverde was easy with a quick taxi ride. We especially enjoyed the tasty food and drinks on site, with lovely views of the surrounding cloud forest. Hotel Senda Monteverde exceeded our expectations. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always making an effort to help us feel welcome. It’s a relaxing, well-run place we’d happily recommend to anyone visiting.
