I spent a week here in February. My downstairs unit was nicely laid out, and all five units open right onto the pool. It seemed like good value for Santa Teresa. The spot is peaceful and set back just enough from the main road to avoid the noise and dust, while still being convenient for surfing and restaurants.

The owner was kind and helpful with recommendations, and I'd definitely come back. The location is great, with some of the best restaurants just a three-minute walk away and the beach across the street. Rooms are fully equipped, and the shared areas were perfectly clean. There's also a yoga and massage space where you can relax and enjoy the lovely atmosphere around the pool, with palms and other plants. Couldn't have asked for more.

We booked a month at Anam through airbnb with Elisa, and before arriving we asked whether there was construction nearby because it was rainy season. We were told there wasn't. Franco was very kind when we spoke and showed us the property, and the surrounding area seemed quiet. Then, shortly after we arrived to see our room, the owner of Anam and Elisa cancelled our reservation without telling us. When I asked why, they said, "it is better for us." I've never had an airbnb host cancel without communicating, and I definitely wouldn't recommend Anam for either a professional or leisure stay.

The apartment was large, bright, and competitively priced, and we had everything we needed thanks to the lovely staff. It's a gorgeous spot in a spectacular location, and we got a great welcome. We can't wait to go back!
