The few negative reviews are telling the truth. Drunk, disrespectful volunteers were staying in the rooms and common areas, making it a really bad experience. There was cigarette smoke and a bad smell in the rooms, and the toilets didn’t work. Suitcases, wet clothes, and towels belonging to the volunteers and their friends were spread everywhere, making it hard to move around, even to get to your bed. Keep an eye on your things. The lockers can be opened with any key. Someone apparently took my prescription glasses from my room by mistake. They later turned up 1 km down the road, badly scratched, and my whole trip was ruined. The employees were completely useless and unresponsive.

The beachside setting was my favorite part. The hostel is right on the beach, with stunning views and waves audible all day. The atmosphere felt magical and friendly, and I felt at home straight away. The staff were kind and helpful, and the guests made it feel like a welcoming community. It’s clean and comfortable, and the design makes it easy to relax and enjoy nature. I’d strongly recommend it to anyone looking for a distinctive, authentic stay in Santa Teresa.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and well cared for, and the facilities were great. I slept comfortably, and the privacy curtains, personal lockers, and charging outlets at each bunk were appreciated. The bathrooms were spotless, with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel at home. They were friendly, helpful, and always ready with good local recommendations.

The location is so good, right in the center and just across from La Laura Beach. There’s a great café and an amazing restaurant right outside the hostel, and WiFi too! The staff were wonderful from the moment we arrived. They helped us with rides, recommendations, attractions, everything, and were always so kind. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, and whenever we needed help, someone was there. It felt like home, with fun people and a great atmosphere. Best hostel I’ve stayed in. I’ll definitely come back and recommend it! ❤️
