This was the cleanest and nicest place I stayed in Santa teresa. The free breakfast was great, and it's right on the beach. The owner can be a bit odd, as others have mentioned. For example, the signs say no smoking, but she stood nearby smoking while I was trying to relax on a lounge chair.

A lovely quiet spot away from busy central Santa, and a nice place to start a holiday. I really liked the garden hammocks, and breakfast was very good. You'll need a car or an ATV.

The grounds are amazing, and Casa Cecilia is right on the beach. Breakfast was really nice, and while the rooms aren't huge, they have what you need and are clean and comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. I had a tiny 2WD car and could easily get to Casa Cecilia along the road in Santa Teresa during the dry season, though you might need a 4x4 in wet season. I loved staying here, would happily come back, and highly recommend it.

The courtyard was one of my favorite parts, with hammocks, loungers, and tables tucked behind a fence so you can relax away from the other beachgoers. Through the gate, it’s only a short walk to gorgeous white sand and turquoise water, with miles of coastline to explore and beautiful sunsets. The surf can be great, though there are rocks, so the friendly, knowledgeable lifeguards at the tower are worth checking in with. There are other lovely beaches nearby too, so I’d stay several days to enjoy the property and see more of the area. Casa Cecilia feels like a real find. The rooms are simple and comfortable, with air conditioning and enough space, though they’re not huge. No TV in our room, which suited us just fine. If you’re after a five-star resort, this isn’t that kind of place, but it’s ideal if you want to switch off and relax. Breakfast is made to order, with several choices, and there are plenty of good restaurants nearby, some within walking distance and others just a short drive away. We’d only booked one night, then our next reservation fell through and we couldn’t find another place at short notice. We asked manager Anna if we could come back for two more nights, and she kindly sorted it out quickly. We drove four hours back, and were so glad we could finish our trip here. I found the B&B on a general hotel site, and we’re already looking forward to coming back.

The room was on the small side, but the ocean sounds and the view from the windows made it easy to love. The beach felt magical, and the spot was peaceful, away from the busy town but close to Playa Hermosa.
