Coco Bungo

We were very happy with our stay. The room, garden, and dipping pool were lovely, and it’s a short walk down the road to excellent surf and a great little restaurant where you can enjoy the sunsets. Our room was serviced once, and Katie did an excellent job.

We felt pampered in these super clean, beautifully decorated private bungalows. There are three of them, and we had a pool surrounded by lush plants plus a covered deck with comfy chairs and a sofa. The location is amazing, right in the middle of the ocean block. There are two restaurants at one end and a beautiful open-air restaurant on the beach. The beach itself is magnificent, and the stargazing at night is great.

Having a parking spot inside the property was a really nice surprise, so we didn't have to hunt for one outside. The bungalows are only about 100 meters from the beach, and the pool and whole setup were great. We spent a week here and would happily return. Gigi was so kind and answered all our questions, and the staff were always around and friendly. We enjoyed chatting with them even with our pretty rough Spanish. They cleaned both the bungalow and pool every day. We can definitely recommend coco bungo.

The rooms were spotless and the service was impeccable, with beautiful views all around. Coco Bungo Hotel is in north Santa Teresa, just steps from Roca Mar Beach, and has a lovely mix of comfort and natural scenery. It made for a five-star stay, and I'd highly recommend it.
