Griss Lodge & Villas

I booked Griss for nine nights but left after four, and wasn't offered a refund. I wouldn't recommend staying here. The property felt outdated and poorly maintained, with a run-down gym and yoga area and a TV that didn't work. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, WiFi kept cutting out and made remote work difficult, and noise from upstairs neighbors was loud. Doors and windows wouldn't close properly, so insects, cockroaches, and mosquitoes got inside. There were ants in the kitchen, stained sheets, and hair in the bathroom and shower. Housekeeping also left my room wide open and unlocked during the day. The owner's response made things worse. When I raised concerns, Gabriele was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. As a solo female traveler, I felt very uncomfortable and left immediately after being shouted at. A friend staying there at the same time also left early after getting locked inside her apartment because of a faulty key.

Such a peaceful atmosphere and kind, welcoming staff. The location was perfect, and they made it feel like home. A hidden gem in Santa Teresa. Thank you Riccardo and Simona, and a special goodbye to Maria Laura.

The owner is nice, but the property really needs investment. Everything feels old, and our paid double room had two single mattresses instead of a double bed. The WiFi was unreliable, and we could hear everything from the apartment above us, which was very loud. The kitchen is basic, with a coffee machine but no coffee, and the TV didn't work. The gym and yoga studio are run down and have old equipment.

Our bungalow was roomy and had a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, AC in the rooms, and a nice terrace overlooking the crystal-clear pool. Daily cleaning was included, and the host responded quickly. The location is right on the main road, only a five-minute walk from the beach, with supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes nearby. Totally recommend it!
