Santa Teresa Surf Vista Villas

The rooftop suite gave us incredible views, especially at sunset, and I loved the unusual outdoor kitchen and shower. My only complaint is the road up. It was manageable in dry weather in our van, but might be difficult when wet or during rainy season. The place is also some distance from the restaurants and town strip.

We loved the outdoor kitchen and the views from the balcony, where we could watch both sunrises and sunsets. The ocean, birds, and animals made lovely sounds throughout the day and night. If you just want to relax and do nothing, this place won't disappoint. We were happy to call it home for two days. The villas and location are beautiful, and the owner is very sweet and helpful. The A/C unit is small for the room, but our stay was still pleasant. Driving up and down the hill can be a chore because the road is narrow, though there are plenty of pull-in spots to let other vehicles pass.

You can sit with a cup of coffee and watch the morning swell roll in across the whole ocean from your room. It's a real secret gem in Santa Teresa, and I'll stay again. The wild setting lets monkeys, birds, and iguanas roam freely, which made it easy to feel connected to nature. The rooms were comfortable and the staff welcoming. The hotel is at the top of a paved hill, and even in the rain we got up without trouble in a small Suzuki espresso with an 800 cc engine.

The hill is steep, but we walked it a couple of times and managed fine. I'd still recommend renting an ATV for the stay. The pool and views are great, and Marco was really kind and helpful. It's well located near many coffee shops and restaurants in Santa Teresa. We'd recommend the place and come back.
