Suite Paraiso Azul

The outdoor space is the real showstopper, a tropical paradise with a lovely plunge pool. There's also a fully equipped kitchen and dining area at the back. Our casita had a large bedroom, roomy living area, and bathroom, all filled with Sergio and Mariela's wonderful artwork, plus a private outdoor shower. Nicest place my wife and I have ever stayed. Sergio and Mariela were warm and gracious. Sergio gave us great tips for restaurants, grocery stores, and things to do nearby, and Tamarindo is only a five-minute drive away. There was construction next door that started fairly early, but we're early risers, so it didn't affect our enjoyment. 10/10!

We really liked being outside central Tamarindo's hustle and bustle, though it's only a short drive into town, or a brave walk. Sergio and Mariela were so welcoming and helpful. The suite was spacious, beautiful, clean, and private, and we were left in peace. There's a good coffee shop next door and a local restaurant called “Rural” down the road. Couldn't recommend it enough. Pura Vida!

Sergio and Mariela welcomed us like old friends, and the suite has such positive energy. We loved relaxing with a dip in the pool. The place is romantic, tropical, cool, and full of color and creativity, with lovely furniture, beautiful materials, and artwork by the two artists who live there. Photos had already impressed us, but the real place had even more surprises. We've told our friends about it. Thanks for everything.

The owners are very friendly and helpful, and the suites are huge, with everything guests need to be comfortable. We did find it a little expensive compared with places of this standard where we stayed elsewhere in Costa Rica. Parking is an open spot on the sidewalk beside the suite, which made us feel a bit uneasy. The street is busy, though the noise doesn't come through very loudly.
