Luxury 2 BR Condo at the Diria Resort, walk to Tamarindo Beach! MP 302

The buffet breakfast had a great, generous selection, and the pools were lovely. We also spotted monkeys in the beautiful park just in front of the hotel, which was a nice surprise. There’s a private beach area and an ocean-view restaurant where we enjoyed both the food and cocktails. The hotel sits right on the waterfront. Our room was clean and spacious, and the bathroom was fine, though the water pressure was weak enough to make washing my hair difficult. For the location and what the hotel offers, it’s good value.

The exterior of Tamarindo Diria is beautiful, and the location is great. The pools and lounging areas were well kept, the restaurant was really good, and breakfast was a highlight, with plenty of good-quality options. The room felt worn down and not updated enough for the price. The staff member who checked us in was rude and unwelcoming, which made for a poor start. Worst of all, there was a COCKROACH IN THE BED. Completely unacceptable, and it honestly ruined the experience. For what we paid, I expected much better.

We booked one room for two nights, but the original one smelled bad, so they offered us a much better room. We had reserved two queen beds, but none were available, so we got a king room instead. It was decent. The front desk receptionist was a really cool guy and made sure everything was taken care of. Parking was available, and the place felt very secure.

We loved the pools, beach access, and excellent buffet breakfast, and felt safe throughout our two-night stay in the Boulevard King room. The room was clean, although the water pressure stayed weak the whole time. The staff were some of the best: attentive, let us check out late, and even allowed us to keep our wristbands so we could use the amenities after checkout. I’d recommend it to friends and family.
