The photos don’t really show how lovely this villa is. I spent 2 weeks there in March with 3 friends, and we’d get straight into the pool after waking up. The grounds were immaculate, and howler monkeys lived in the trees at the end of the garden. We spent a lot of time hanging out in the outdoor kitchen. The host’s a DJ and had great speakers you could play loudly if that’s your thing. You’ll need a car, though it’s not a long drive. Rob recommended some great places. I’ll definitely be back.

There were howler monkeys around nearly every day, and the gardens are stunning. I first came in December for a Christmas break, then returned in May this year. The rooms are gorgeous, with big beds and walk in showers, and the fab rancho kitchen is great for eating and relaxing. There’s a big pool too. Rob Green is a fantastic host, accommodating, knowledgeable, and really helpful. Tamarindo, with all its great bars, restaurants, and the beach, is close by, and other beaches and towns are easy to reach. I’d recommend hiring a car. My next visit is in September. Can’t wait.

We spent two fantastic weeks at this beautiful villa and couldn’t fault the spacious, immaculate AirBnB or our friendly, knowledgeable, helpful host. Monkeys, iguanas, hummingbirds, and exotic butterflies were right in the villa garden, and the surroundings were beautiful. We made plenty of use of the outdoor kitchen and Tiki bar. Since it’s just outside Tamarindo, I’d suggest hiring a car to explore more of Costa Rica. We’ll definitely return to this little slice of paradise, and highly recommend it.

True Pura Vida. Follow your hosts’ directions and ignore Waze. They make you feel so welcome that you’ll probably sob when it’s time to leave. I hate giving this wonder five stars, since it’ll probably mean it’s not available next year.
